S.O.A.P Personal Bible Study
Try this method of reading through your Bible. Choose a passage of scripture to read, then follow the SOAP steps. This is a great way to get even more from your personal time with God.

SOAP Example

Passage: Luke 8:22-25

Scripture: What verse or verses are catching your attention today?

Observations: What ideas or thoughts does this scripture bring to mind?  What are things you would be able to sense (see, hear, touch, smell, taste)?  What lessons can you learn from this scripture.  

Application: How can you apply the lessons you have learned from this scripture?  What areas in your life do you need to work on?  What areas of your life do you need to submit to God?

Prayer: End your time by seeking the Lord in prayer.
