November All Church Email
We're excited to share Hope Central Christian Church news, events, and information to help us serve and grow in Christ together.
Next Sermon Series: "Entering the Stories of Jesus"
Jesus was a brilliant storyteller, but he didn't tell stories to simply entertain. He told parables to invite people to become his followers and live their lives fully for God. The next few Sunday mornings we'll listen to some of Jesus' parables and hear his invitation to us personally to become a part of what God is doing in the world today.
November 9 - Matthew 13:1-23; Mark 4:1-25; Luke 8:4-18
November 16 - Matthew 13:24-43; Mark 4:30-34
November 23 - Matthew 13:44-53; Mark 4:26-29
November 30 - Matthew 8:23-27; Mark 4:35-41; Luke 8:22-25
December 7 - Matthew 8:28-34; Mark 5:1-20; Luke 8:26-39

Annual Meeting
Elections will be held as a part of the Annual Meeting on Sunday, January 11, 2026 in the Kimball campus’ sanctuary. Time for the meeting to be determined. Please watch for this information in an upcoming email. Absentee ballots may be received by contacting one of the Elders or stopping by one of the church offices.
Snow Shovelers
Winter is coming… Snow shovelers help make our sidewalks and stairs safe and accessible for all who enter the building.  Supplies (shovels, sand, and ice melt) are kept at the building.  Volunteers sign up for a one-week period (Monday-Sunday) and are responsible for shoveling if/when we get snow that week.  This is a great parent & child serving opportunity!  Sign up for a week (or more!) below:

What's Your Next Step?
If you have attended Lunch with the Pastor but have not yet been to Starting Point, we want to encourage you to take that next step! Starting Point is a great way to find out more about the mission of Hope Central Christian Church and what it looks like to get on board with that mission.
Starting Point will be offered next at the Kimball campus on November 23rd at 9:30am in Room 130 (downstairs next to the restrooms). Contact Chris Chambers at (320) 292-0971 if you have any questions.

Awana Clubbers Conclude Mission Madness Month: “Fill the Food Shelf”
Our Awana Clubbers recently concluded Mission Madness Month with a meaningful service project titled “Fill the Food Shelf.” Through their generosity and enthusiasm, the children collected over 608 pounds of food to bless our local food shelf ministry.

A core purpose of the Awana program is to help children grow not only in their knowledge of God’s Word but also in living out their faith through acts of service. Scripture reminds us in Luke 3:11, “Anyone who has two shirts should share with the one who has none, and anyone who has food should do the same.” Our clubbers embodied this truth, joyfully giving from what they had to help meet the needs of others.

In addition to collecting food, the students helped deliver the donations, tour the food shelf, and learn more about how this ministry serves our community. This experience allowed them to see firsthand how God uses simple acts of kindness to make a lasting impact.

We are grateful for the families and leaders who encouraged and supported our Awana Clubbers throughout this month of service. May these young hearts continue to grow in compassion and in their desire to serve others as they follow Christ’s example of love.

Come be part of what God’s doing at Awana!
Every Wednesday evening, our church comes alive with laughter, games, and the sound of kids hiding God’s Word in their hearts through AWANA. Right now, we have 101 kids enrolled — and even more families are hoping to join!

Before we can open our doors wider, we need a few more caring adults to serve as small group helpers — people who listen to verses, encourage kids at games, and help them grow in faith.

If you love kids, enjoy connecting with others, and want to make a lasting impact, we’d love to have you join the AWANA team. You don’t need to be a teacher or a Bible expert — just someone who wants to help kids know Jesus.

Interested? Connect with Leslie Arnold this Sunday!  We’d love to have you join the team! leslie.arnold@hope-central.church or 320-492-7227
